The Cyclops is a one eyed giant of Greek and Roman Mythology. These creatures were said to have forged the thunderbolts for Zeus and fought with him against the Titans but the story gets a bit confusing as for the origins and who the original Cyclops were.
Monsterous has a quick description of the creatures but I think for the most part people think of the Cyclops as a giant one eyed brute that throws boulders at ships and has no love for humans or the gods and would eat humans for dinner.
A great example of the Cyclops appears in the movie
The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad
In my drawing I made the Cyclops look kind of silly with a sort of questioning look on his face. He is a fun character and I figured he should be a bit funny in the drawing. The colors are a
combination of
Prismacolor Markers and Copic Markers.
