31 Monsters in 31 Days: Monster 11 - The Ramboozle

Continuing the made up by myself monsters this one is called the RAMBOOZLE. He kind of reminds me of the Yellow Bastard from Sin City with a horn. He doesn't really have a story at this point.

This drawing was done in an 5.5" x 8.5" Strathmore (400 Series) 60 lb. paper sketchbook with Sharpie Marker and Copic Markers.

31 Monsters in 31 Days: Day 15 Hellhound

The Hellhound or Hell Hound is a creature that comes in many sizes and shapes throughout folklore, movies, comic books and other literature. The creature is a dog or wolf with supernatural powers often used to guard something or someone of great value that should not be disturbed. The dog has many different shapes throughout the many tales it is featured in, it sometimes appears with one to three heads or on fire and often is represented as a black dog. These elements are varied and sometimes only some of them are applied in the tale.

Red Demon and Snake Man

This page features two random sketches drawn in preparation for my 31 Monsters in 31 Days project. We have a scary Red Demon and a Snake Man with a weird eye. These guys are kind of fun and silly . . . just the way I like it.

Hey guys sorry this is late I went to Drink and Draw last night and it went way late. This was drawn on Thursday but couldn't be posted until now. I'm going to come back later and add some info on the character but wanted to get the drawing out ASAP.

31 Monsters in 31 Days: Day 10 - Succubus

The Succubus is an evil demonic creature that has existed in folklore and religious beliefs going as far back as medieval times. The demon often appears in dreams as a beautiful woman (sometimes winged) with the intent to seduce men into sexual encounters. A succubus can also appear in the flesh but if a man has sexual encounters with her in any form he may become weak or even die. The succubus is a master of seduction and will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

In my drawing I made the Succubus look a little innocent (with big anime type eyes for some reason) but with a definite agenda to accomplish. I figured red skin was good for a demon I wasn't going to add the wings but decided at the last minute to put them in. I'm usually terrible at women's hair but I think this might be the best hair I've drawn on a woman yet.
